SAY THEIR NAMES! Today we speak on the eruption of emotion as demonstrations began this week due to police brutality after the recent events of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery. Tonight we focus the whole conversation on this as we try to process what happened and how to move forward.

• George Floyd’s murder in Minneapolis, MN sparks protests/riots/looting nationwide
  - Anniversary of his mother passing away. He was murdered on 5/25 by Minneapolis cop holding a knee to his neck for over 8 minutes.

  • Liquor store called cops on Floyd due to suspected counterfeit $20
  • Cop worked with George at a nightclub for long period of time as bouncers.
    
  • Discharge at hospital stated he had “underlying health issues”
    • family will conduct independent autopsy
